The UK's leading site for shrimp keeping supplies
We do things differently around here!
At ShrimpKeeper.co.uk, we take a hands-on approach to shrimp keeping. Unlike many sellers, we don’t import our shrimp or snails — we breed every one of them in-house, with care, patience, and years of experience. Our aquarium plants aren’t mass-produced on commercial farms either; they’re grown right here, ensuring they’re healthy, pest-free, and ready to thrive in your tank.
When it comes to food, we don’t just resell the same generic brands — we develop and test our own formulas, using only ingredients we trust. The result? Happier, healthier, and more vibrant shrimp that truly show the difference quality makes.
All Shipments Are Tracked!

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship throughout the UK. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship to the USA, Canada, or Europe.
When will you have more shrimp in stock?
We breed all the shrimp we sell ourselves. This allows us to sell only the highest quality, disease-free stock. The downside, however, is that when we sell out, we can't just order another batch—we have to wait for our shrimp colony to grow naturally.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on all orders over £50.
For orders under £50, shipping is as follows;
Royal Mail 48hr Tracked - £3.49
Royal Mail 24hr Tracked - £4.49
Do you offer a live arrival guarentee?

What makes ShrimpKeeper.co.uk different from other sellers?
We don’t import our shrimp or snails — we breed every one of them right here in-house with care, patience, and experience. Our plants are also grown locally, not mass-produced, and every product we sell has been tested in our own tanks before we ever list it for sale. We’re hobbyists first, sellers second.
